Robert Redford's Hair, and other observations

A friend of mine stated recently her admiration for the actor Robert Redford.
It has always seemed to me that his hair is a separate, alien entity from the rest of him, I would even go so far as to conjecture that it tells him what to do because it is threatening to eat his head.
