Write or Die Update

Minor but important update to Write or Die. It seems that Flash version 10 broke the autocopy functionality so I all but removed it and replaced it with a script that makes sure you want to leave the page before you navigate away and possibly lose your precious words.

Let me know in the comments if there are any problems.

Desktop Edition is coming along, I'm hoping for a March release.

Stay tuned

What an awesome site! Thank you for sharing this with us for free - it's an amazingly simple tool - and it's very effective too. Wish I had this back when I was in school!

I think I'm going to be sending a lot of writer's here if you don't mind.

There is no room for lazy writer's in the world, and you keep us on our toes with this!!!

As a screenwriter, I'd love it if you could develop a version of this that would work in screenplay format...however, it might be simpler if you could just work on a way to sort of anchor the write or die negative reinforcement to another program, making it easier for people who need to write in a specialized format to utilize it.

Anyway, thanks for the great tool and keep up the good work

Thanks loads! This's been really helpful. I haven't done NaNo yet, but I'm doing it this November for the first time. EVERYBODY on NaNo is drooling over the Write or Die thing. Not kidding. Miss Dudly stickied the forum post about it, so she must like it, too. Anyway! Thanks a LOT for making it.
