Thank you to everyone who submitted for the podcast! I'm not going to spend long here because I've been doing so well keeping this whole podcast resolution thing I don't want to linger too long before posting it. If your story was not included in the podcast it wasn't because it wasn't good. At times I doubted my concept and fundamental belief that good fiction can happen quickly. Not one submission was anything less than good. I chose the ones I chose because they worked well together and worked well with the theme. Thanks once more to everyone for submitting. There is absolutely no restriction on people submitting again whether you've been "published" previously on the podcast or not. This is an amazing group of talented people and I can't wait to read more!
So that's it for this issue. now onto the next. The topic for the month of February is:
Attic Archaeology
I want to read stories about things found in attics. Long lost treasures and adventures. Hidden darkness. Magic or mischief or malevolence. Rummage around in the spiderwebs of your mind and bring me back a story. I will accept stories of any length. Poetry or prose though I think this topic is better suited to prose. Maximum of 2000 words. Because I was a day late in releasing this I will give you an extra day to submit stories. Due on February 21st.

Wow! Those people(the ones who wrote the poems that you read...) They're really talented! Those were awesome! I am so excited for this new prompt!
And I was wondering... Are poems good too, or is it just short stories and such?
I am so amazed at all of the excellent poems. I had chills through all of them, and some good laughs too. And you know, you have a really good narrative voice, Wicked. I shall be taking up this new challenge in a few days, so the theme can stew for a while... Oh, and you've said that you wouldn't mind giving critique to the submissions. Have you thought any more on how you might do that?
I have a similar question to animejnky88's: how will we be able to send you submissions just for critiquing?
Will we be able to submit more than one story/poem/etc?
To answer your questions:
Just say "Not ready for submission, Critique Only" somewhere in the email you send and I'll respond without considering it for publication before refinement.
You are more than welcome to submit more than one story or poem. It is likely that I'll choose the best of the two/three/however-many and publish that one so there's room for other people. But feel free to send away.
And yes, poems are just fine for this one.

You know, the prompt "Attic Archeology" has a double meaning. It could also mean archeology in or of Greece, since Greece was anciently known as Attica.
Just a thought.

Grimble bug is an especially good poem.
I've hear so much about WriteOrDie - but each time I try to use it, nothing happens. I.e. I can write, and the words are counted or time downcounted, but when I come to the end, nothing happens. Yes my speaker is turned on.
I am so looking forward to hear those devilish voices, and I am so disappointed!
Tell me what I can do to make this work.
Those poems were great all of them ^_^ I wished I had a book of them now haha or an audiobook I loved them and I'm going to try and get my little brother to listen to them I think he would enjoy them greatly.
I really with the download link was available again. I'm feeling major nostalgia for these poems. I used to listen to them a lot in high school.
